THERAPIST AVAILABILITY

Our therapists each have different schedules and some of them may have no openings so may not be available for you. But, we almost always can find you a therapist who will meet your needs.

INSURANCE PLANS AND SELF-PAYING

Most therapists are on most insurance plans. We DO, however, accept clients paying for their sessions themselves if the insurance plan does not cover the therapist that is the best fit.

Terry Hefter, personally, always attempts to match clients with the appropriate therapist.

Our therapists each have their own treatment styles but most tailor their techniques to the client’s needs.

COUPLE COUNSELING STYLES (Including pre-marital counseling)

Most of our therapists use techniques to assist couples in improving their communication and changing negative patterns of interaction. The goal is to help couples to gain the “tools” for resolving conflicts in the future.

FAMILY COUNSELING FOR CHILDREN

We usually include the parents in sessions for children as we see this as a way to implement lasting change.
